  • A Good Day

yesterday started off very badly as I had to visit casualty after a fall down the stairs. Fortunately no broken bones but soft tissue damage and firm instructions to rest (no allotment for me til next week) and I was bored stiff after about 3 minutes - took to spending the day watching my River Cottage DVD for about the 10th time and reading gardening magazines.

The day got so much better when OH got home with a parcel which a huge rhubarb forcer which I'd won in a competition - Rhubarb schnapps here I come.

Just need the lottery win now ......

Hi CL - sorry to hear about your fall and glad that you aren't too poorly from it. A few days rest at home (ie not at work!) sounds good to me! Theres nothing like a long session with HFW to make you feel better is there? I hope you feel better soon. DDL

Thanks for all your nice e mails - foot is much better today and I have spent the morning planting seeds and reading all the literature that just arrived for my new membership of garden organic.
