DAYTIME TELLY WILL ROT YOUR BRAIN!!!!!

I am home all day and it only goes on for me if there is snooke or tennis on.

However the toddlie is a bit partial to c-beebies so defo have a telly-mummy-brain!

We don't have sky, only freeview so the mountain of dross is slightly smaller than with sky!

Am pretty sure that the standard of day time telly is a deliberate attempt to get people off the sick and back into work. It's mind numbing! Read a book, listen to music, plan your allotment but don't watch the trash

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

But we are convinced it's a government plot then?

f I were on my own I would never have radio or tv on. I just cannot function with background noises. All I would need is the PC and possibly one or two bad books.
Anyways apart from boredom how are things?

I accidentally watched some Jeremy Kyle...never seen anything like it. What on earth do people go on that show for? It's vile!

Not all daytime TV is the devil though. It's how I got my first glimpse of my adored Come Dine With Me. I've said it here before, but the bloke who forced four strangers to eat sushi off the pelvis of his half-naked hairy 'friend' was one of the funniest things I've seen.

We watch hardly any TV but I have a special grubby place in my heart for CDWM.

Not so bad thanks Brengirl, I've been gassing to DarkCrow on Messenger as well as you lot, and I've picked a compilation video for me to fall asleep through this afternoon: Meet Me In St Louis, Jane Austens 'Emma' and 'Pride and Prejudice' - super.

Not that it's the greatest claim to fame, but my step-mum was one of the conestants on the first-ever episode.
Sadly the narrator wasn't quite as sarcastic back then.

She didn't win, she came second though.
