I only recently discovered that Stephen from Dynasty is now the father of Claire in Heroes - I knew I knew him from somewhere.

I thought Nathan Patrelli was Claire's father

      So what's Stephen's super power?

Living with 3 blokes I have seen more Top Gear than any woman ever needs. Thankful we don't have sky, freeview shows plenty of carp as it is.

Step away from the TV PB and switch the radio on, and NO you must not buy a handbag! Well maybe just the one if it is a really nice colour................

Ooooo, how do you do that, we were only saying the other day we'd like to get rid of about 75% of ours that come with other stuff we want.

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I've never found 'public broadcast' stuff to qualify as company. I'd rather have a book or 'meet' a few folk online. If the idiot box is on, I tend to watch (however daft), but if it isn't on, I couldn't care less. Never got the Radio habit. I like music in the car (when I am driving) but prefer to choose my own, and not get interuptions from people talking, or loss of signal in tunnels/under cables etc.
You can read and listen to music at the same time, sort of....

We,ve recently gone all digital ( Border TV region), and been forced to get a set top/digibox. I haven't counted up how many channels there are, but it is probably about a dozen, and we still have trouble finding something worth watching.A good excuse for taking the dog for a walk or going to the pub
My wife says the new (to us) digital radio stations are more interesting, but I haven't tried them yet

I don't follow Bruce Springsteen, but I'm told there is a line in one of his songs:

Fifty - four channels, and there ain't nothing on

PB you really gotta turn off the TV set and do something better instead. (now there's a retro reference for you!) I always have the radio on until about 6pm. Usually Radio 4. Then I can do all sorts of creative things or generally make a mess and create chaos!
                            Get them paintbrushes out PB!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?
