Garden retailers have again called for Sunday trading laws to be relaxed with Boxing Day 2010 falling on a Sunday.
This means garden centres over 280sq m will only be able to open for six hours on the traditionally busy trading day.
HTA marketing director Andrew Maxted said: "With Boxing Day 2010 falling on a Sunday larger garden centres will only be able to open for a restricted number of hours. This is another example of how the out-of-date Sunday trading laws are not in keeping with the ways of modern life.
