I fell in love with Jane Austen when I was 12, and just love P&P. Without a doubt, Colin's portrayal of Darcy is the only one that ever came close to the Darcy in my minds eye. Yum.

nothing wrong with Matthew Macfayden's performance in recent film its Keira that is unbelievable - wooden and not healthy and buxom enough - she would snap if she had to go through childbirth!

My favourite Darcy is Colin Firth, too. Unless Daniel Craig did an adaptation, then Colin wouldn't get a look in.
