I have lots of favourite songs, but when I've gone and looked up the actual lyrics (not the words I always sing), they aren't very inspiring....

...made me think.

What song lyrics do you sing wrongly?

I heard "Don't tell my heart, my eggy-bready heart" on the radio several years ago.
And a while ago I was in a motorway services' toilet when a guy came in singing, "We built this city. We built this city on sau-sage rolls!"

Perfect. My brother and I used to sing Metallica's 'One' in the back of the car on long journeys. My mother used to fall about laughing, when we asked her why (finally), she said,

'Well, you're singing Tickle my arms, Tickle my legs, ...'

we said, 'Erm no, its about a landmine...'

Di, I think its 'All the Single Ladies', my OH is convinced its 'I'm a Singleez' (like a singleton or something) - I marvel at how his brain works sometimes

I was photographing a model once and she sang 'where's your hair done' instead of basement jaxx 'where's your head at'

I never remember song lyrics and my OH noticed that whenever there's a song on I want to sing to I just sing 'nang nang' instead of words and it fits every time!!! It really works - try it.....
