    My Dads Birthday Today.

    Well as the title Say's, Its my Dads Birthday today He's 85, I'm heading of up to the hospital to see him at half 1, the nurses have said it would be OK to go early with it being a special day and all that, I've baked him a BIG ginger cake with butter cream, icing and silver balls on the top (his favorite) so he can hand it out to the nurses as a thank you for looking after him so well.
    Just thought I'd share with you all...but not the cake

    Take him a bunch of grapes as well and say it is from all his female admirers on the Vine, Ginger!

      O Boy he'd love that, its a shame you can't all be there, he'd be in his element with all the Ladies on the vine

        Which hospital GN?.......I doubt it will be in Leeds otherwise I would have gone & wished him Happy Birthday.

                            Ah yes - a very happy birthday to the grand ol' fella - just tell him his 'pressies' don't include a chase round the bedpans with the nurses - easy tiger! On the other hand....they may enjoy it?!

                            Great age - hope he gets out of hospital soon.
