There but for the Grace of?

Nothing dramatic here, but I see so many people in desperate circumstances and think - there but for the grace of God, and all the people who have helped me along the way, in big ways and small, go I. I am truly grateful to them all. And especially my husband. I sure picked the right man there.

Obviously not a 'There but for...' moment, but more one of exquisite timing. Many years ago, came off my motor bike, colliding with two garden walls. One was the local police house, the other was the local doctor! Both gentleman happened to be off duty, and were gardening. First on the scene was the cop, followed about 3 seconds later by the Doc! How about that?

So is that when you hit your head then???
