Today I've got a bit of spare time and thought I'd set up the Wii. Well I'm stuck First page on the TV says to press the "A" button to continue, I do that and now it's the languages page. It won't move from the languages page, English is highlighted in red and I've pressed the "A" button - nothing. I have pressed every other button - nothing. Switched it off and then on again. Still nothing. And now I've got the hammer out Save my Wii and my sanity please! I'll be back on tomorrow and would love to see lots of ideas, hints and preferably solutions. Question for all of the clever Grapes - can a T-Loop system interfere with a Wii?

Have you tried pointing the wiimote at the screen to get the pointer showing? Then highlight the language and press A.

Are the batteries in the controller ok. If so try re-syncing the controller with the box. I think there is a red button on the box if memory serves me right, dementia an all.sigpic“Gorillas are very intelligent, but they don't have to be as delicate as chimps -- they can just smash open the termite nest,”
