I bet that was quite something Polly...I can just imagine it, very cold here and the moon is huge and so bright tonight here in Chester...

Just popped out to have a look-see and it's extremely bright tonight, almost too bright to look at! Didn't look for long as it's far too cold out there!

The moon is so bright that when I took the dog for a walk earlier I could actually see where I was going (middle of nowhere, no street lights) - added bonus saw a shooting star!

Well, I wrapped up warm, took the camera out, took 3 photos - dashed in, loaded them onto the puter (after a brief scrabble round for the cable) and lo and behold - black and white photos of a white 50 p piece on a black background! No detail, no focus - just a silver disc. Nothing like what I could see with the naked eye. I get so frustrated with cameras!!
Whooops - now what are the dogs getting up to?

Never mind JeanieD - at least you have the memory. Tonight it's too cloudy here.
