Well...I really hope there's a good explanation for this. Otherwise, what a shame. I did think the messages from CK sounded genuine? I was going to send some, but didn't get around to it quickly enough.

When I first started using the Vine, I didn't clock the 'new mail' thing in my PM folder a few times. I was always apologetic when I replied to people who had bothered to send me a message about whatever, but I felt terribly rude that I had ignored them for a few days! I shaped up after a few weeks though.

I only bumped it as her profile isn't visible due to the quirk mentioned above and the bit the mods can see show that she was here yesterday - I'm hoping someone comes on and says they have already had a 'thanks'.....

I wouldn't normally, but so many people volunteered free seeds.....

Woohoo. CK got my seeds and has pm'd a thank you to me. I think they just took a little longer than expected in the post. I'm so pleased they arrived safe and sound. I was getting a little worried as I have had a few things go astray in the post over the last couple of months

Phew! Me too....last night

CK has said she has concentrated on trying to work out the PMs and is going through the seeds and getting back to everyone - she is cock a hoop with the ones she has had and I'm sure will see this once she has been through them all and say a huge resounding 'THANKS' to everyone.

CK- if you would like some Landcress seeds PM me I have loads that I seed saved last year, great crop, easy to grow and tastes just like watercress.

I too have a had a "Thank you" so my previous 'apology' is retracted. I am really pleased about that as one thing I have been saying to a few Grapes is I am a believer in "paying it forward" i.e. making unrequested goodwill gestures in the hope that others will do likewise, who knows one day even I may benefit from that (but that isn't why I do it).

Glad to hear CK is looking forward to sowing and growing this year.

So sorry I had you all worried. I was away for a few days and was thrilled to find all your lovely gifts of seeds waiting for me when I got back.

It took me a little while to work out who had sent me what - it would all have been so much clearer if I had noticed that I had messages waiting from the kind folks who had sent me seeds! Please bear with me while I get to grips with the forum
