I dont think its anti northerner, we need you guys up there to get rained on 360 days a year so we realise how good the weather actually is south of Sheffield.
Its because of the rain that the Ecky thump headgear is so big, it keeps it off the Black pudding stopping it from going limp.Comment

I have the words to two well known, and much loved folk songs, both ideally suited for Ecky Thump and also for that greatly appreciated winter sport, Bogget Hunting (Boggett = elusive creature peculiar to the Isle of Wight. One type inhabits marshy ground and is the main target for the hunting season. The other type inhabits the hilly region, and has, as a result, developed much longer legs on the downhill side. This makes it easy to catch as all you have to do is turn the evil little beggar round!) If any one wishes these words - they ARE clean - please pm me and I will pass them over.
