I am weird cos I quite like doing housework. I don't iron though (much to my mother's shame) unless going on holiday to get them flat in case.
I like hoovering and dusting and cleaning loos, don't like doing the bath as it makes my back ache.
Don't do the oven, I get a man in just before xmas.
I like cleaning the sninks too, they look fab afterwards!
all together now ........

although I do get a bit fed up of having to so all the work as OH is so busy with the extension. And I hate tidying up children's toys.
Hovering the stairs, dont mind hovering anywhere else but NOT the stairs.
Dont believe in ironing, never have never will, always use "reduce wrinkle"on washing machine and hang up anything that looks like it might cause me a problem!
Oh and not too fussed on the duvet situation either
Life isnt about surviving the storm.....But learning to dance in the rain.
I always wait for a wet day. then I turn on the TV in the bedroom, plug in the iron and spend the day catching up until the next time the laundry basket is overflowing.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.

In the glory of the garden.
ALL OF IT...........I HATE ALL HOUSEWORK! Totally pointless when its all going to get messed up again, although I'll iron shirt 24/7 so how sad is that!
Judging by earlier replies it looks like I'm not on my own when I say ironing. Years back, when I was still at school, I had a friend who's mother had left and who's father did as little house work as possible. He used to iron his school uniform by putting it between two sheets of brown paper and then putting it under the carpet. Strange, I know, but it worked.

There is no need to do any housework at all. After the first four years the dirt doesn't get any worse.

Tidying.
Despite the impression I probably give,I actually rather enjoy cleaning...it's just an effort to get to the surfaces to clean them
I even don't mind the actual job of ironing...it's the putting away I find a chore.
DUVETS...I fold my cover in a kind of corsetina fashion on the bed, leaving the open bit at the top.Thenpinch together one end of the duvet...you need to make sure you get the middle and ends together...Then just pop into the duvet, getting the corners into the corners and lining the middle up.Unfold the folded cover over the duvet to about half way and then give it a good shake.
Possibly sounds complicated but is actually really easy.

Agree about tidying, it is totally alien to my nature. Oce there is space to clean, it is one of the mostsatisfying jobs there can ever be!
Duvet, I get the top 2 corners into place and add pegs, then bundle the rest of the duvet into the case, get those 2 corners in the right place, hold it by those corners, and shake it like shaking a rug to get dust out.
Then do up and place on bed.
