Having been born not that long after the second world war I've seen more than enough economic up and downturns and, to be honest, none of them have had any real impact on my life. A credit crunch makes no difference if you don't live on credit. Live modestly as Flum says and don't even think about the next recession. That's a bit like worrying when the next big asteroid will slam into the earth.
