Mid Life Crisis?

I often wear skirts and dresses. Shift/pencil ones for work, short ones, floaty ones, party ones and a couple of ballgowns. I wear jeans in winter, then change in the evening. Tend to spend summer in skirts or shorts. I wear a bit of make-up most days, even if just mascara and lip gloss. None of it stands in the way of getting down and dirty on the lottie. I'm perfectly happy in heels or wellies to be honest. I dress appropriately for what I'm doing!

TS, I've seen photos of you and yes, you're very feminine and pretty. No idea what Mr TS is on about. You've said before people think you're younger than you are, so with that, and your looks, I'm certain you can carry off whatever outfit you fancy.

Being a Dental Technicians assistant, lumping plaster around and using bench grinders & files for most of the day, jeans are a better choice Boots it will be!

I forgot to say that I wear make up each day. Never top it up in the evening or if nipping to the shops. Only gets reapplied if going out for the evening!

I think the last time I wore a dress was on holiday in Jamaica - and that was in 2003!

We were forbidden from wearing trousers to school except for one winter term, so I guess I'm still rebelling. Trousers in winter, shorts in summer, that's me.

If I heard someone describing me as unfeminine, it wouldn't bother me in the slightest. If they told me I was feminine I'd thing they wanted sommat!

He and his dear ma have both mentioned the word 'unfeminine' when talking about me recently, so I've decided to spruce myself up a bit. Hopefully if I get a few more woo-hoos, he'll let me get back in my dungies and workboots

Just remember you don't have to wear a dress to get in touch with ones feminine side

I remember a time when I managed to wear a feminine colour and get away with it, I didn't have children at the time but I think they would have been able to relate to me
I felt a bit uncomfortable admitedly but soon got over it

I now feel confident that I'm with friends here
so here goes this was me when I experimented with wearing pink



I was single at the time and although I had my chat up line sorted it didn't work, I suppose thinking about it a 6ft 4 bloke in a pink romper suit asking women I fancied if they would be my mommy might have been just a little bit intimidating but I could be wrong.

I think they both want their eyes testing Two Sheds from the photos we've seen of you on here. Wear whatever you want but you do look lovely in the dresses you've posted on the 'craft' thread.
I've not been a big 'dress' fan for years but have bought quite a few over the winter, really cheap £10-£30 ones , short, covered in sequins etc. , made me feel really 'girly', definitely a 'mid-life crisis'!

Since it is so true that none of us has ever seen ourselves as others have I believe we should always use that stunning image we see in our head. If you feel good you look good. It's all in the mind.

I've been a bit busy the last cuppla days so hadn't seen this thread. I had lunch with Jeanied today and she pointed me this way.

I very, very rarely wear skirts. I'm usually in trews and trainers/working boots. I've worn skirts twice this week, Tuesday to meet the Duke of Gloucester and today 'cos I went out to lunch.

If TS is having a midlife crisis what the hell am I having? I'm posting a photo of me taken at this last New Year. I'm 62.
