Sorry you didn't get the job EB, hope you eventually get the job you want and the job that wants you! I have the good fortune to have stayed out of hospitals for the best part of the last 30 years but I realise what an enormously difficult job nursing can be and I take my hat off to you for trying to make a difference. Keep at it, and I hope your fledgling business takes off for you. If it's all about hard work, then surely you'll succeed!

I wish you luck Earthbabe in any new job you find or in the one you're in if you end up staying. I couldn't be a nurse for all the money in the world, it's such a difficult & demanding job & no doubt heartbreaking at times. I've been in & out of a few different hospitals visiting my mum , auntie, dad-in-law & mum-in-law ever since I was about 10 years old & think it has changed a great deal & not for the better in many cases.
