I'm a bath girl myself. There's nowt like a long, long soak in a hot, soapy bath with a good book and a glass of wine to relax the old muscles and relax in general. The old prune look isn't brilliant, but I can live with it!

Shower every morning for me (I try to exercise every day so yes I do need it!) - if I have a bath I want to shower the dirty water off aftewards!

We're having a new bathroom this year (still have the beautiful 1960s pink one at present!) taking the bath out completely and having a lovely walk in shower instead, no one uses the bath here.

Has to be a bath for me- I actually find showers claustrophobic!!!( even a double sized one to myself!!!)
Can't be doing with having a cold side either

          Shower, definately.
We didnt have a shower in our last rented place and missed the ease and speed - 10 mins in shower, half an hour to run a bath....!
Sadly the shower is so expensive to run, we have to limit it's use (5 mins a day ea) and baths use way too much water (we are on a meter)
Ideally I would like to have a shower that runs from the boiler..one day

only have a bath, would love a shower for quickness but would probably still use the bath after a day in the garden. Also get indigestion on occassion and a soak in a hot bath always helps!

Bath, I love a good wallow. You gotta be a bit smart round here to get enough hot water though

I just cannot understand today's fixation with washing our bodies. Do we really believe that in a day or two our bodies are 'unclean unclean'! Nature has it's own way of removing dead cells and even deoderising. By constant scrubbing with water softeners we are destroying the natural oils that keep our skin supple. OK, I must admit to enjoying a bath occasionally but, no soap or detergent just a soak in the jaccuzzi and a light scrub and an after oil up. Daily I use 'wet wipes' just to keep me sweet.

I shower every day. We haven't had a useable bath for years, but our new house has a beautiful rolltop one (as well as two showers), and I can't wait to fill it up, put some bubbles in and soak for ages with a good book and a glass of wine.....aaaaaah.

Shower is useless so bath unless in a hurry then shower.

My dad used to love to bathe every day - just because he didn't have to bring the bath in from outside etc etc!! He never took it for granted that you could get water from a tap let alone hot water! I think I mostly shower each day because I enjoy it and I can! (and I used to work next to a guy who jogged to work and didn't shower afterwards - phew, seriously unpleasant)

We only have a shower so it's a shower every morning. That's fine most of the time, but would love to soak in a hot bubbly bath when the aches and pains are bad. A bath is certainly an aid to sleep, but a shower doesn't seem to have the same effect, so ideally would like both.
