Blackbirds singing as I got to work at 7.30 this morning, singing again when I got home at 5.00. Both times in daylight for the first time. Now there is an owl whooting in the ash tree at the bottom of the garden. Makes you glad to be alive.

I know the feeling Digger. I noticed last night, after a beautiful day that it was still daylight at 4.15, but it still seems to be dark in the morning at 8ish. Yesterday was such a beautiful bright day, the sky was a brilliant blue with not a cloud. Made me realise we hadn't seen much of a blue sky for a long time.~
Aerodynamically the bumblebee shouldn't be able to fly, but the bumblebee doesn't know that so it goes on flying anyway.

I agree with you Digger - I just love hearing the birds sing! I really appreciate now that its light (well for 15 mins!) on the way home from work - roll on spring.
