I thought parking on verges used to be illegal.

Did it? Delivery drivers / Workmen etc park on the grass verges down our road even though the road is wide enough to park a van / lorry, and the local bus can still get past... never understand why they do it, but they seem to automatically drive up the pavement and onto the verges?!

OH maintains the couple directly outside our house (as the council don't do a very good job of it) so if they park on those ones he tells them to move.

Today I've had a reply to my e-mail from the customer services team. They say as there are a few stores in our area they need the time, date reg number. I have replied with the details also telling them we have video of the fiasco.
My neighbour has also called to speak to the area manager and he was supposed to call her back , which he hasn't as yet.So I'm guessing she'll be on the phone again . An apology would be nice, tidying up the green would be nice, it not happening again would be nice , even some vouchers in recompense would be nice.
Am I asking too much?

Can't remember who, but somebody messed up a verge round here and they did put it right, after local residents kicked up a fuss. It's up to the owner of the verge to press for that, though.

Can't believe you'd want Iceland vouchers. Are you that short of food in your area?? :P

That's my neighbours idea , they're on a strict economy drive. .......But if they're free...I'm not that proud
