Click the + sign at the side of the tab then open your chosen bookmark.

Yer, wot he said ^^! Just open another tab, Ollie, you can have dozens open if you want. Or save a bookmark called favourites and put 'em all in there. Or do both, I do.

Yea, but once I'm done I have to close the open tab and open a new one. I can't just load a bookmark in the current tab.
Same when I open chrome to start with; no bookmarks. I have to open a new tab and close the starting one before I can get my bookmarks up.

Sorry, don't make sense to me! Just to annoy you, I've just gone back to FF because of the ad blocker. All the browsers seem to look the same on the Mac anyway!

Okay.

Let's say I want to look on the vine. I have to:
1) Open Google Chrome
2) Open a NEW tab
3) Select the vine from my bookmarks in the new tab
4) Close the old tab
OR
Open GC, type the address into the address bar.
I can't open GC and go straight to my bookmarks as they don't show in the first window.

Mine do............there's a folder at the right that says Other bookmarks. Does that not show when you open GC.

Click on the spanner & check "Always show bookmarks bar".
