If you have foxes around, you may want to consider putting paving slabs or similar on top of the grave. They've been known to dig up bodies.Comment

Such sad news, if it was me I couldn't be so brave. Have you seen the poem Rainbow Bridge that talks about the dog being healthy and restored in the green fields of Rainbow Bridge, waiting for his friends and family before he passes over to the other side.
