Hi Carl, welcome to the madhouse. You can ask serious questions here, or just have a laugh. Even the maddest of us do have a serious side (if you can find it), and we all enjoy gardening

Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.

Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

                      Hi Carl,

Welcome to the vine. At last someone from sunny North Devon, I used to live there in a former life. Hope you enjoy the vine as much as I do. How about posting the weather occasionally on the weather thread. North Devon weather is something else

As far as showers go I am told it is all to do with the type of cloud, even if it is raining all the time

Hi CSW! Welcome to the madhouse, otherwise known as the Vine! Dont be afraid to ask questions, although we have a "reet good laugh" there are lots of experienced gardeners here who can answer any questions you may have. Also, have you got the latest Grow Your Own magazine? well recommended! Lots of useful, up to the minute info and advice - my favourite read! Can't wait to hear how you get on, with me only getting my first 1/2 lottie just before Christmas! We can compare notes........................best wishes DDL
