An absolutely glorious day here in the south east, even seen some daffs about to open this morning, has spring come already or is it the calm before the storm??????

I don't know but it's beautiful here too!
I'm about to admit defeat with the housework and take a wander to the lottie.

the only thing to stop me moaning about not being able to go over the lottie rather than being at work is that the lottie is so waterlogged, i dread to think of the state of it.

I planted some catawissa onions last week, i do hope that they are ok

or make that sit on a bus with a class full of kiddies, help them get changed for swimming, sit in an overly heated pool watching them, help get changed again and then sit on the bus to get back to school!...why can't I say 'No'?

Beautiful day up here too. Sun so hot through the double glazing that my fledgling chillies, peppers and tomatoes were actually wilting! Had to give them a drink double quick! Apparently it's forecast to go on until Friday. I expect we'll all be moaning about lack of rain up here soon!

Fab day down in Cornwall too. Took Beau to the beach this a.m. and seriously over-estimated how cold it was going to be! By the time we got back I was steaming! Got loads of washing dry outside (YAY!) and my next door neighbour was out cutting the grass so it smelt DEVINE!

A ground frost here this morning, I felt it coming around 11pm when I was driving back from Saxmundham last night.

It's nearly all gone, plan today is to clear up the rubbish on the lottie and get it down the dump.

Hard frost and a sprinkle of snow where I am! Hoping the clouds will clear later and the blue sky and sunshine will reveal itself like yesterday. According to BBC Breakfast weather forecasters, it was officially the first day of Spring yesterday.

I do think we have more winter to come, it always lulls us into a false sense of security this time of year, it's too wet to do anything outside anyway and it'll take rather a long time for outdoor efforts..

Night frost but the warm sun has soon shifted it. AND a bumble bee thought it was spring.
