No!!!That's far too early!
I was thinking of wasps as I had my strawberry bubble bath at lunchtime(a rare luxury)and decided I'd be safe smelling fruity for a few weeks yet.
the fates lead him who will;him who won't they drag.
Happiness is not having what you want, but wanting what you have.xx
As everything in this world of ours has supposedly got it's reasons for living can anyone enlighten me as to why we have to have wasps. A wasp may have an plausible reason but for the life of me I could live without them.
As it was a bigun it was probably an overwintering queen. May have been hiding in your house or nearby overwinter, You're also probably way ahead of us in temperatures, hence the early awakening.

She's right.....I'm afraid I'd execute her (Queen wasp not rustylady) on sight....Unless really inconveniently placed, I tend to leave wasp nests alone.... but if you can avoid the problem before it begins.
