And I am sure with such a good positive attitude you will get there

that made me chuckle as when I was a little girl my dad ran a taxi firm... when the drivers used to come round the house I would run screaming away as if they were trying to murder me! Nobody had any clue as to why this was!

And I do cross them but don't really like piers with wooden slats with little gaps.

When I was a very young child for several months I had a Recurring Dreams of a Witch flying over our house, for some reason the room next to my bedroom would be full of Propane gas bottles which would explode at which point I would wake up (pretty much the same time every morning (Don't ask me the logic) ever since then I avoid any houses full of gas bottles

Any dream analyzers able to explain the symbolism? as we never had any gas bottle in the house let alone a bedroom full of them, I never met a witch either well not til I met my mother inlaw anyway

Janeyo, you've reminded me of another fear (not a phobia, luckily) open stairs. I cured myself becaus etwo flats I lived in, consecutively, had open stairs up to them. I'm OK now, but if they're tall, and open at the sides my knees turn to jelly, and I hang on to the rail like a vice!

I cannot abide the thought of crunching on something I shouldn't in food IE Egg shell, grit etch. If it happens I have to exert every ounze of control I have in order not to throw up. I also cant drink a hot beverage down to the bottom of the cup as I once swallowed a piece of "kettle fur" and it felt like it was lodged in my throat for days!

Cant be doing with open stairs, spral staircases are HORRID! once had a panic attack in St Pauls on a school trip cos of them. Didnt know it was a panic attack 'cos I was only 12
I can do piers now but don't really like them and fire alarms at junior school were a trial 'cos of the external fire escape stairs, lots of nasty little holes in 'em

water, can swim but hate water over my face, had a scarey time learning to swim, first time without armbands being supported by mum's partner in a swimming pool on holiday bottom of pool had a steep slope across the middle but nothing to tell us that. We both went under and two german holidaymakers jumped in and got us out.

                        Heights- no particular reason why

Water and height combined not good struggle walking down the harbour as you look straight down to the water even though there is a rail still makes me nervous as does walking near a canal have been known to ask my younger cousin to walk in a bit as its makes my heart go faster.
Jetty not good for me either we have a small one in the next village up I can't go on it especially as it has a square hole in the middle

We found mouse droppings last night and the house is covered in traps. It has scarred me silly, literally. I am jumping at every little noise. No sleep last night. The OH is being amazing, helping me through it.
