I just nipped into Tesco to get a jar of this for my mum, a massive marmite-aholic, as a thank you for all her help recently.
While I was there I thought, "why buy one when I can get two for twice the price?", so indulged in a jar myself.
I had it under the cheese on cheese on toast. A much deeper flavour, I'm sure my Mum will be equally impressed.

I have a jar at work, a jar open here and one 'in storage'. Bean loves it too.

Dude, don't mention it - consider it public service.

I had the Ashes/Pedigree one, bought some for my brothers for Christmas too and I am not sure we could taste much difference! Maybe slightly.

The XO sounds YUM! Cant wait to try it! Hadnt heard of it before coming on this thread so glad I did so I can look out for it....

Is it saltier than the original variety? Just because I worry about salt intake and do tend to spread my Marmite reasonably generously!!
