Strictly speaking they're not saying you'll write it off twice, they're saying that the odds are you'll cause £1173.01 worth of damage. Chances are if you have an accident you'll cause damage to whatever you hit too.

When I got my insurance it was £740, after 2 months I got a job and rang up to change the insurance from 'personal use' to 'personal use and commuting'. They gave me £114 back and reduced my monthly instalments by £12.
Even though commuting means I use it more, being employed means I'm 'statistically' less likely to have an accident, even though I don't change my driving style just because I've got a job!
Crazy but that's just the way it works I suppose.

When I first got the 4x4 (isuzu 3.2v6..rip) I got HUGE quotes, then MIL said try NFU, theyre used to farmers, so a sensible (where did she get that idea) female will cheer them up a bit. Cheered me up too, knocked £400odd off the best other quote.
And cos OH was named driver on mine, when he got his own van they let him have the time hed accreued on mine as no claims on his..now I call that real service
And last renewal the lassie suddenly said, hang on a mo, youre nearly full no-claims now (dont ask, it wasnt my fault) do you want to protect it? Its not a lot more, and its worth it. So i said yes and two months later wrote it off..my fault..claim settled in a month and a half...and still full no claims. I love that girl

each time you get a quote, make sure you tell it to the next company less £50 once they have quoted you (really Aviva etc. quoted me £xxx and i thought you would be cheaper), they will try to beat it down and it's surprising by how much. btw I'm with LV. really good with a no fault claim i had to make.

Organic, this is where you can get cheap greenhouses
                Standard 8

I bought one when I lived in Cardiff and I was giving away sweet peppers all summer long by the carrierbag full. I loved it but now live in France so cannot get one.

Dunno if you've bought yet - but I use quidco when I take my insurance out. I've had a lot of money back doing this (and double this time around when more than messed up and cancelled my policy (yet I still got the £40 cash back), and then took it out again getting another £40

VanWin... I'll keep this breif (rare for me!) as it's way off topic... but WOW! That's amazingly cheap. To get one the size I want (actually I'd have liked about a foot longer, but still) would be less than £300. No glass means the scrotes throwing stones over the fence won't cause me any problems either. Thanks for the link! If the maybe-free one I'm waiting to hear about doesn't come to anything I'll be placing an order.
