Looks like I'm out on my own again, this time it is a tatty proper leather bookmark bought from Benllech Bay in Anglesey on a family holiday - probably in the early 70s.

I actually have a small clip type thingy, not dissimilar to TS's piccy, but this is much more poshe.
Its a proper, pukka, genuine bobleponge bookmark, as sent to me by my Secret Santa (thanks again). Its currently in a French copy of a book called "La Peste" by Camus, also sent to me by same Secret person.

My dad always uses cash.. the larger the denomination the better. My family never had much money.. so we'd always laugh at him showing off. I'm just wondering now how many $20 notes made it onto the shelf at the library!

I just dog-ear my pages if it's my own book (naughty, naughty).. or a bit of scrap paper if it's from the library.

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.
