I knew there was a reason I fancied cake today, and I called in at my friend's Cafe at lunch time and had a coffee and a lovely big slice of carrot cake - Yum. I'll post you a bit!

Just got back after a fantastic day out ( oh boy could I get used to this attention!!!!)

...anything exciting happening tonight????? YUP!!!!!

......I've got Betty and Tippy Toes sitting on 6 Marans eggs!!!!!!...that's what!!!
I'll be in and out of that coop all evening with a huge grin on my face!!
Poor gals had a bit of a shock at the size of them though!! ( 85g instead of the usual 35-40g!)fingers crossed it works out

I can hear the mug of tea being made and looking forward to having a warming soak in a lovely hot bath!
What a brill start to the weekend- thanks for all your lovely messages peeps- it's really sweet of you to think of me!

Indeed this is turning ut to be a great weekend- it drizzled for about half an hour whilst I was eating my breakfast in bed!!!

And we've spent the morning having a darned good potter in the garden.
It's fantastic how it's suddenly looking 'fresher' OH is sorting out the compost and I'm warming up another way ( indoors seed sowing!!)
Tomorrow is Mother's Day...dare I hope rto have breakfast in bed yet again???...Oh and the wonderful news is that it's not Mothers Day over here until 30th May...so I'll get 2 days for that too!!!
