Will manage to cheer up later, especially as this the start of my week off- a whole week gardening yeh! But at the moment it's a bit of a sad household as my daughters bunnie had some sort of stroke last night. She was in a very bad way so have been to vet and sadly she is now buried in the garden. 22 year old daughter was distraught, understandably as said bunnie has been in very good health and not very old. She came from rescue home last year, so were consoling D with the fact she had a happy settled year. Hey ho,such is life.
    Gardening forever- housework whenever

Glad to see your self-moderation kicked in there.

I'm, currently kneading some naan bread; it will be going in the oven in about 15 mins for when the OH and his DD get home. I've left the kalonjii out as she won't touch it with them in.....
      One handed kneading?
Flour and dough all over the keyboard?

      Lettucegrow...
It's a good job she wasn't around these parts... my Grandad, when he was alive, would have had it in the pot and to be totally honest - I take after him. :-S
Not to belittle the sadness... I had a rescue bunny when I was a kid (a baby really, the runt of the litter, we found it outside its hole and put it in and a few hours later it was outside again - too young to be out alone so we took it in) and I was gutted when it died... but I take a bit of a "shame for it to go to waste" view of things like that now.
      Still a sad loss though.

I do hope you enjoy your week in the garden. I'm starting to see light at the end of the tunnel with my current workload so might be able to schedule in a few full days on the allotment here and there. Can't wait!

Pooh! I forgot you lot can still read them.

I thought the same as organic - make sure you clean the keyboard afterwards.

You have to loose sight of the shore sometimes to cross new oceans

I would be a perfectionist, but I dont have the time

Stella - for books in the public domain...
                  Main Page - Gutenberg

There's some great stuff on there, not least the monumentally significant "An essay on the slavery and commerce of the human species, particularly the African, translated from a Latin Dissertation" by Thomas Clarkson.
I've read bits of it and it's no understatement to say it's one of the most important books/essays of all time.

There's much more light hearted stuff on there too mind.
