It's Mothering Sunday tomorrow, so if ever there was a time to get free Asda flower buckets for your veg, this is it! They will have hundreds to give away if you only ask. My daughter knows I'd be happy with the buckets (although I know I'll get the flowers as well)!

My children know I don't want cut flowers. I would much rather have seeds, plants, bulbs, fertiliser, compost etc. They have now got used to my "funny ways" and are happy to oblige. I do cut flowers from my garden for the house, but object strongly to buying hothouse cut flowers from supermarkets etc. They have a short life when brought home, and lord knows what their carbon footprint is. -

asda,another lady saw what i was doing and pounced as well,see about going in the morning,if you can get the ones that roses come in,they are taller than the others,
