Having told everyone for the last 3 weeks that I would prefer nobody travelled over these next 7 days due to some big conference nonsense, and being told this morning that people MUST travel today and tomorrow.

The phone call I have just received from 2 very angry Germans asking if Paris airports were closed because I didnt want them to travel this week.
They honestly really did just ask me that.

Had someone looked at my house today, only the second viewing I've had. Feedback seems positive, good news.
My car is being fixed in my absence, so will get home to a working car. Good news.
My plumbing problem has just been fixed, so hot water at the top end of my house. Huzzah.
My back to back has just sent me an email saying he is preparing to swim across, so that I can go home. Yippee!!
My boss has just signed a timesheet for 31 days pay, that aint a small amount, and I'm still here. Wooooopppppeeeeeee.
