    • Spending 2 hours outside in the beautiful weather, potting on and sowing tons of stuff, and watching the lizards tease the old fella, getting as close as they can before making him move, and then skeedaddling back to the cracks in the stones where he cant eat them.
Then coming back inside and finding a swallow apparently dead on the kitchen windowsill, picked him up and realised he had probably scudded himself trying to get out when he heard me coming. Took a photo as he woke up, and then sent him on his way.

        • This place just gets better. Yanking out ginockerous handfuls of weeds in my spudbed and hearing my name being shouted. Neighbour farmer asks me if I would like a JCB bucket of cow cack and straw?
          Cheers Thierry, you're great.

                          • Leaving home, driving through the village, stopped to speak to Jean Luc, our little village caretaker blokey.
Mentioned the weather was a bit changeable, said that we could do with some rain for the plants.
"Pffff, we need the water for our Pastis."
                            I love living here.

                              • Notwithstanding the early hour and the slightly sore head, hearing my youngest granddaughter gurgling away in the bedroom next to me, and picking her up and putting her in bed with me and having a cooch.
                                Brilliant
