          • The thought of spending this evening camping up at a damp Loch lomond with my OH, and two brothers No, really! It may be wet and drizzly, and on the cold side, and i might be better known for liking my home comforts, but we'll be walking to the pub, enjoying beer, food & live music and each others' company, then walking back to the tents and falling asleep.

                • Whoops! I was about to post that having a lazy day slobbing out in PJs and generally doing nothing much has made me happy today!

Normally I feel guilty but today we just indulged in it as we felt like we deserved it after a tough month.

But then saw that I posted two posts above about hoping to get loads of uni work done today!!! D'oh!

                  Feel a bit guilty now

Oh, and finding two dishes full of stewed rhubarb and ginger that I harvested yesterday.

                    Oh, and rhubarb bellinis.

                    • Seeing old friends. The kindness of folk I've never met.
Got on the train yesterday from Aldershot to Twickers, and obviously got stuck into the lager in daughters handbag. Group opposite were drinking Champers, daughter told me I was a cheapskate, so they poured us both a glass.
Got up to go to the loo, and 2 seats further up the carriage was a friend I hadnt seen since 1992.
Day only got better from there.
