I had a bath with my daughter today, first time I've done it - and first time I've had a bath in probably a year... It was so deep she was practically swimming, full of bubbles, all overflowing out over the bath and listening to her scream with excitement as she waded up and down it grabbing my toes and legs underwater!

Then I got out and saw the mess we'd made - glad the mrs is away as we (I) soaked the landing carpet too. Have had the hair drier on it hehe

Hearing that a friend who was rushed into Hospital yesterday, is fine, and the operation he has been waiting for will now be brought forward!

Battling with Sid my cockerel! I think he's great.He's all that a cockerel should be. If the country was at war I'm sure he would join the resistance movement. Up to now I've managed to get away with only one scar......but it was worth it.

Hmmm its been ages since I wrote anything here, so I have a few things to make up for the absence:
Going to the DIY shop and finding that they still stock the paint I used in the hall, so I dont have to repaint the whole thing, just buy a magi-pot and touch it up!
All my broadies have sprouted and look healthy.
Using up old stuff in the fridge and making a delicious meal out of it.
Trying a new recipe.
Capturing 'that' perfect moment on camera.(This is no 1)
None of my jam has gone mouldy!
The sense of achievement from finally taking all the bottles to the bottle bank!

Doggies There's a fat old retriever near to me and he was out this morning blocking the pavement. He got a big tummy rub. I went on my way with a big grin on my face

I saw a teeny sunflower in full bloom today as I walked into town! It made me smile all the way!

My friend who took me out today for a walk in the freezing cold and spent a devoted a whole hour to making me smile (haven't had much reason to do so lately). Bless him!

The guy in one of our very small local shops who fixed my router power cable for me after the ******* in the computer shop told me bluntly they didn't stock them and suggested I try Asda!!
