Surprise gifts from out of the blue (guess that's what makes them a surprise )...I've had a few lately, including

1) a new pointer thing for my mobile phone, coz I told someone in passing that I'd broken the cord on my old one, then Hey Presto a brand new, gift wrapped one appeared on my desk, and
2) a 'Hello Kitty' ring (meant for children), which I was given by the lovely manager whose house I stayed at, when the snow made it too dangerous to go home the other week. She made me wear it for the whole of the works Christmas party on Friday, but in fact I love it so much I might wear it all the time
