Mother's day lunch! Belated, we went out this week as my children were too ill last week. Had a lovely lunch the boys behaved brilliantly (as always but it's nice when people comment), they ate really well and the toddlie ate more than the 5 yr old lol. He clearly has a mind to build up his strength again!

They even made me some roast potatoes and yorkies in veg oil instead of lard as she knew we were coming and knew I am veggie. How kind

Very happy today and now off to do a spot of digging on the wasteland to counteract the dessert I had

The river Trent is lovely, I know because I have walked on it for 18 years.

Looking proudly at the pea obelisk and willow chicken I made today at Bridlington at a willow sculpture course - and having my lunch with friends looking out over the sandy beach with the sun shining on it.

My boxer dog Monty makes me happy.

He never fails to entertain me and the welcome i get when i've been out at work is second to none.

Going out on nice walks and seeing Monty run and enjoy himself makes me happy too.

And non-dog related then i'd have to say cooking or my kitchen I guess. I love being in there and cooking a good honest meal from the freshest possible ingredients.

My pekin chickens that jump up on my garden bench with me when I am having a glass of wine early evening - they watch me intently to see if i might offer them some!
