Spending Sunday afternoon in the sunshine with my beloved for the first time this year and contemplating the summer with all its joys to come.
Life may not be the party we hoped for but since we're here we might as well dance

Having ordered a climbing frame/activity centre for Bean at the weekend and the thought of him playing on it with me chasing him round.

          I want one!

Raining today so no digging, but I could splash in the puddles as I walked along the road

            Seeing my pots of
            Tomatoes
            Pumpkins
            Peppers
Ginger (no germination yet on all the above - only sown at the weekend)
Chllies - seed saved from last year and little seedlings showing (sown about 6 wks)

All in the kitchen under a bit of plastic - I love when the afternoon sun shines in on them.

Finding a bag of chunky bean soup in the freezer. I thought it'd all been eaten up!
own toms, own beans and French beans and onions and I see there is some chopped spinach in there too!

Guess what I'm having for lunch????

Coming into work and the ladies in the kitchen bringing me a lovely cup of milky coffee and a smile as I walk into my office.

(now see the minor rant thread!!)

Oh you should have said - we've had them here for yeeears!

On a slightly related note - started a pack of Vietnamese Cashews with salt and pepper last night. Had trouble stopping.
