Google street viewed where I grew up- and was thrilled to see that the cinders track ( short cut) is still there!
it has a footbridge over the railway line where I used to try and catch the sparks from the steam trains on my hand knitted cardies and tried to kindle them by gently blowing on them!!!!

        Ahhh..happy memories!!!!

My son getting back to normal and laughing and joking with me, buying a dear friend who has just discovered the joys of growing their own some goodies for their birthday, scrambled eggs on toast for brekkie on a Sunday and not having to do lots of work on a Sunday because Ofsted have been and gone last week!! YIPEEE.....

Waking up, with Bean in bed next to me, snuggled in. The window open and the sound of birdsong coming through.
