  • Woohooo! Finally finished my first assignment for uni! (after tears, frustration, temper tantrums and general despair) BEFORE deadline and with an originality mark of 10%.
Now just to wait for 25-26th Jan to see if I have done well enough to pass.

    • Waking up on Christmas day, all alone and far from home, to find lovely messages from lovely people.
Thank you, you probably wont ever realise just how much they mean.

        • What makes me happy? Seeing the score from the MCG after the first days play, and Punter's face!

                • Finally having a nice Xmas Day (the real one was horrid). Little One and her nanny came round, our friends & their dear little girl, and my two nephews. With guinea pigs & parrots running around too. I was run off my feet getting them all fed & watered, but it was stress-free and delightful

                    Love that 2 sheds!

Seeing my youngest really enjoying opening all his things ths year - this is the first year he has really 'got it' and it took him 2 days to open it all as he wanted to play with each thing. It was lovely - and he was so poorly before xmas with his chicken pox and sick bug it ws nice to see him behaving like a little boy again
                    Love him

                    • We went to our local last night for the first time. The OH fancied he cider, but doesn't like traditional flat ciders so the conversation went like this.

OH: Is your cider still or sparkling?
Barmaid: I don't know. But it has bubbkes in it.

                      Made me chuckle.

                          • Having my family altogether. Daughter number one lives in Somerset and daughter number two lives in London, so don't get together much.
Great to see them both happy with life.

                              • Watching the grand-daughters unwrapping their Christmas presents (they spent Christmas with the other Grandparents this year.) Two and a half year old kept saying "My book!" "My chocolate" "My jacket!" when they were unwrapped. She also opened presents from Himself's elderly parents and said "Thank you Grandma -----" when she did so. Dead sweet. Big sister helped her undo some of the sellotape too.
