My husband (ahhh!) my grand-daughters, my chickens and of course, that magical moment when a seedling peeps through. A new little life of any sort is worth a smile.

And the Grapevine has been a constant source of pleasure since I found you - 3 years ago!

After being away from home for over a month, I ask the taxi driver to drop me at the top of my drive.
I walk down the drive, bags in hand and just gaze at my house and garden, and revel in the peace and quiet it gives me.
Its a silly thing I guess, but I still realise how lucky I am to live where I do, and every time I come home I appreciate it, and it makes me happy.

Being sent a £10 garden voucher by Amateur Gardening as they're going to print my picture of the snail on the cactus I took last year- that made me very happy this morning.

Still being here! Had a scare last autumn and I'm just so darn pleased to be looking forward to another growing season, watching my new grandsons grow and youngest DD's wedding this spring. Phew!

AND I had the roof down on the car this week

When I walk in the room and my OH looks up at me and his face lights up into a smile.
It still gives me butterflies after more than 30 years! ( yup- childhood sweethearts!)wink! ( and yup- I know how lucky I am)

Oh- and a warm chook egg in my hand after a firtle in a nest box.

( belonging to the wonderful Grape community- but that goes without saying!)

Feeling the heat from the sun - finally!
