We have used a package with a walking company, and its £337 (to be paid ASAP) as we have opted to have an extra night in Chollerford so we have a rest day midweek.

Travelling to start on 1 May, start walk on 2 May travel home on 8 May. The prices have gone up since we booked, but we also got group discount too.

http://www.contours.co.uk/walking-ho...-wall-walk.php we are using package HPW1

          I'm tempted.

We will either be in Spain, or still nursing Gemma. Can't go away anywhere until she is fit enough for kennels.
Will be with you in spirit! (probably sloe gin)

                  Hello Kirsty,

Bumped this as I want to do the walk this year (new years resolution!).

Wondered how it went, how long it took, general views on the company / package you used?

As always thanks for your response.
                  Cheers

                  Danny

And here's me thinking walking was a cheap hobby..............

Snadge, at least you could save money by walking to the start point.............. or make money by offering B&B.
Whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.

                        x

Walk blog below, but we ended up raising nearer £10,000 than £6,000 for our charity.

Its on my to-do list before I snuff it!

It will be the cheapo version though.............me and a tent and a rucksack.

Carlisle to Wallsend............no problem....might get the metro home from Wallsend though!
