            • I managed to get over to see Ollie & his brother for a short time, he loved the card. What a smashing lad (I say lad because I'm old enough to be his father.........).....Anyhow he was fairly upbeat considering he picked up an infection yesterday. The docs are confident they can clear it up...............There is bad news though, due to the nature of the op, obviously Ollie & the docs don't want him to reject his latest purchase so.............you may want to sit down...........NO GARDENING FOR 3 MONTHS...............I think his mum is gonna be offered a 3 month secondment, obviously he will oversee any decisions. He's hoping to be home on Monday & am sure will be itching to get on the vine.

                      • love the card both of you, many thanks for keeping us up to date with how he is doing. No gardening for so long will give him time to sit and look, sometimes with all that needs doing in the garden there is not always time to do that.

And I'm also raising a glass of nice red to Ollie and his big bro, hope things go smoothly for them and Our Ollie soon gets over his infection. His return to the Vine will produce a torrent of replies won't it!
