Apart from GYO magazine, which is FAB, does anyone subscribe to any other magazines? Is it worth it? I was wondering about subscribing to one of the BBC mags, but wasn't sure. Any ideas/info grapes?

I lived in Shoreditch for most of the 1990's...most Sunday Mornings were spent wandering around Brick lane and Columbia Rd mkts....my neighbour had a roof garden, we even grew a few veggies. Think I'd find it a bit hectic these days! CR always packed....I vote Wisley!
Bernie, I've read GW magazine before..infact often I used to enjoy it free as some kind soul would donate it to the doctors surgery..It was ok but didn't race to get a sub...Still not allowed magazines there these days...just pamphlets on venereal infections and not smoking...ludicrous really.

Though I shant renew it!
I also get KG too...but that was a gift from my dad for christmas.
I used to buy an odd other magazine if it looked temping on the mag rack in the shop, but have had to cut down on luxuries..
I also subscribe to Black and White Photography since it started.
I have to be honest and it does depend on whether they have a free gift that I particularly want, Ie with GYO it had the two free Carol Klein books.

We subscribe to National Geographic. Its a fab mag and the photography is brilliant.
I also used to subscribe to Kitchen garden but have stopped in the last few years.
Also subscribed to Readers Digest and loved it but it got so expensive and having it posted to Ireland I gave it up.
And when your back stops aching,
And your hands begin to harden.
You will find yourself a partner,
In the glory of the garden.
