This is one of the only forums my mate doesnt go on so.......

Im best man and need to get organising the Stag Do....

Here's his requirements:

No big cities or abroad
Nice beer
Nice pub
About 25 of us
Outdoor activities (clay pigeon etc)
Maybe Lakes, north wales, yorkshire

It would be great to go to a beer festival or something...what im after is someone to say 'i went to a great do in.....'

I have a few ideas but am struggling!

Mr R's brothers arranged his stag, and had almost the same check list as you, except the outdoor bits were climbing, abseiling, that kind of thing. They hired a very nice cottage with several converted outbuildings in North Wales, so they could all stay in comfort - there were about 12 of them I think - and it was close to a pub and restaurant for decent beer and food.

His best man had arranged all the activities to take place nearby (don't know about clay pigeon). Can't help with the beer festival thing though.

Another group of friends stayed in some wooden teepees somewhere in the Lakes - I went along for one night, we climbed a ridge the next morning, and decent restaurant in the evening.

It's all years ago, so the details are hazy but I can dredge up info if any of it appeals.
