Hi danmon, may I say what a cracking looking pup you have there. My OH has springers and labs for his shooting & to be honest I (and he) have a real soft spot for the springers. They are so loving if that sounds right. Anyway I hope you both have many happy years together & that the relationship/bond between you & the pup grows into a wonderful friendship.
ps Well done poppy it looks like you have a wonferful future.

Oh she is a sweetie, looks like our girl Our springer's mum might be pregnant again, and I know I'll want to take one home - OH had been wanting a B&W dog from the last litter if there had been one. But don't think we could deal with 3 dogs

Aww she is gorgeous! We also adore Springers as well. We have a Springer called 'Bramble' who will be 11 years old this year. They are amazing dogs and so full of life, always on the go and bouncing around. Ours still thinks she is 6 months old, but our poor little baby now suffers from a bit of arthritis and now also has cataracts in her eyes. We are hoping that she will live to a good old age, but we would just have to have another one.

Poppy is a lovely name, I had a Cocker Spaniel years ago, she was called Poppy.

Danmon - she looks gorgeous! I have recently found that the joy of owning a puppy (working cocker) and the experience of rearing it and training has helped me enormously in getting over the loss of my beautiful big old labrador. Spaniels are very happy, playful, devious little dogs and it is impossible not to grin from ear to ear when you see what they get up to (no matter how awful the mess!!!).
