We got Albert from a friend in the village who breeds them. We started with two (brother - Arthur) but you may remember we lost him when he inexplicably broke his leg.
He's a Continental Giant. I'm sure if you Google it you'll find lots of sites. I know for a fact there is a Continental Giant Rescue site. A lot of people don't realise just how big they'll get. Alberts' hutch is six feet long and four feet high with a mezanine bedroom. He also has all day access to an 8x10 pen, but most of the time is spent eating while lying down like a Roman Emperor and having his face washed by Wayne his companion Guinea Pig.
They are a really friendly breed. Beau and he get on like a house on fire - mainly because Beau has a thing for "rabbit currants", but Albs is totallt unfazed by dogs in general.
