    I recall when he first took the plot those older and wiser heads in here were saying that he would have problems after he rotavated the mare's tail.

    In a similar way, the couple who offered me a plot on their property here have lost their 'gardener'. I kept telling the guy that using a rotavator where there was couch grass wasn't a good plan and even tho I've done my best, he's been at it with the machine again in the past couple of weeks. So we're back to square 1 which means I would have to dig the whole thing over again and even then I know I'll have to do it again next year.

    So that's not going to happen this year and to be honest, for the return I got, it's not worth the time and effort. So concentrate on my garden and plot this year.

    As for Joe Swift, he got the plot, followed the trend, got advice from his mate Clint (or whoever), wrote the book and copped the money. What he should have done is listened to people in here if he was really serious about having a plot!
