First Mini-Greenhouse Casualty

The mini greenhouse has blown over, despite the 25kg of weight in the bottom and its all just a huge big heap of damp compost.

Toms, peppers, carrots, courgettes, squash, aubergines and my herbs....

Had only started sowing this last week (bit late really!) and the greenhouse was on our sun patio, and being moved in at night.

It had over 25kg of weight in it, and was just blown clear across the garden - about 10ft.

Have cleared it all up, and put it in the kitchen for now, but I've just got pots of compost and no idea what's in them

I am SO sorry. That's really rotten. Sow again, then have a large drink of whatever takes your fancy.

How depressing! Many will be obvious when they grow though - you can't mistake the toms from the chillies - sadly, you can't tell which tom or chilli you've got if you've sown several. Never mind - all will be edible!

That's what I'm hoping.... I'm trying to forget the fact I'd sown 6 kinds of tomato, 3 kinds of peppers, 3 kinds of chilli, 4 kinds of courgette etc...

God knows where the carrot seeds have ended up!!!

I know how it feels, one year I had serveral trays fall on the floor when some of my temporary staging collasped I spent several hours going through seedling trying to work out what was what, I promised if it happend again I would just start fresh, just think of this year as your pot luck growing season

Bugger! We did have some strong winds didnt we? Like your recovery plan, but I'd repot what I could and then have a lucky dip? I know you are clever than me and should be able to guess what is what by the leaves?

Same happened to me in December mine was weighted & tethered.
I lost 150 broad bean seedlings so I know how you feel.

This one was tied to the downpipe, and pulled it off the wall!
