Practise makes us a little better, it doesn't make us perfect.
What would Vedder do?

Although when she started talking about making her own feed I did expect her to be feeding her toms with comfrey rather than nettles.
Some of us live in the past, always talking about back then. Some of us live in the future, always planning what we are going to do. And, then there are those, who neither look behind or ahead, but just enjoy the moment of right now.
Which one are you and is it how you want to be?

I had it on in the background while I was Skyping someone last night. I glanced at it from time to time, but before I knew it, the end credits were rolling. I don't think I missed very much. I have Beechgrove Garden saved on my Sky+ thingy, I'll pay that much more attention.Last edited by Pumpkin Becki; 15-04-2010, 12:15 PM.

hubbie told me off for being so mean when i was rubbishing her programme last night, he actually said something sensible (shock horror) he told me to remember what i was like 3 years ago before i started growing veg and how i would have enjoyed that programme as a total novice, i had to agree and admit well yes, that is the market she is aiming for, now all the bbc need to do is get the welsh lottie man to come and give a programme for us who have a little more experience and looking for a little more variety....i say bring back the big dig......

I quite enjoyed it as a 'pretty, arty' programme with a bit of gardening thrown in & I love the dog which unfortunately got far less air time this week!
I liked one or two of the ideas especially the dandelion fritters, I already use dandelion leaves in salads, now I'll have to try the flowers in batter!
I loved the homemade mini greenhouse which looked beautiful but I did wonder if the plants were getting enough light & as it happened the plants still got blight like mine!Into every life a little rain must fall.

which is why the materials came to £160, which is quite alot for such a small "greenhouse"
